Bikes:pedal and motor. Also pictures from today's ride

When I went out for a ride in the rain two days ago, I went past the field / marsh on the Minuteman towards Bedford and it had bloomed with those awesome purple weeds I love so much. They were glowing in the overcast oppressive sort of light. Today they were still pretty magnificent, but the quality of cloudy over not so cloudy reduced the eye-popping color, in my opinion.

There are several more images in my nature gallery.

Also I'm getting to the point of wanting a bigger motorcycle. I am hoping to acquire one next season. I've been looking at Craigslist, though, to at least get an idea of how much I should spend. Bwah. Wanna have it NOW /veruca.

I'd say buy mine, but I'm pretty sure your feet wouldn't reach the ground. :}

Loosestrife is the name of that purple weed that is so pretty and so easy to love :) I love it too, but it's sooo invasive.

That lovely purple weed is Purple Loosestrife, an incredibly invasive plant. It is sufficiently good at invading that it is quite capable of turning a wetland into a monoculture.
