I heard the call

[livejournal.com profile] drwex  gets full credit for infecting me with this notion. He said "why not make cthulhu earrings, too..."

Cthulhu, quarter sized

I'm not sure how many of you grok how much this cane will yield...

lots and lots of cthulhu

And this was after reducing the central mass by a lot. Sadly the original theory of wings was not to be. It would have required the whole to be unmanageable. At least I'll be able to make some medallion beads and whatnot.
ETA: The outlining and lighter bits in the black are glow in the dark. Some was also mixed into the eyes, but I don't know if it'll show up. Heehee!

I'm seeing buttons, tie tacks and cuff links!

Be sure to string a few as pendants! Everyone needs a matching set now and then. ;-)

Wings

You'd have to reduce it some to hit the right scale for these:

but maybe you could work them in somehow.

(There are butterfly, bird/angel, and dragonfly wings in larger sizes, but bats are underrepresented for some reason.)

I am so very pleased! Sadly, there is no (classical) muse of warped jewelry, so I shall have to go as I am.

Oh, and I meant to say that if it glows in the dark you might see if you can borrow & rig a UV light of some kind in the art show that might help people see that...

Clearly I'm missing something. "Eyes"? All I see is a swirl of different colors. Is the image supposed to represent something sci-fi? (No offense meant to the creator...sometimes I just have to be thumped over the head before I see whatever everyone else sees.)
