Reading the.....debate on various journals was...enlightening in many cases - i guess i've always tried to take a middle of the road approach both with my own and others but the vehemence in some of those was eye-opening (from both sides) i wish i could do more with my community by having more child-friendly events (actually working on a group outing to ChuckECheese to have the din overwrite the conversation and give most of us relatively child free child time (kids at a distance) but my reality is that my weekends are either working or with my kids - i basically get four days off a month (every other weekend) and i WANT - i NEED that time with my kids - which usually means unless it's a child-friendly event, i don't get to go. 10 years from now that'll be different. i hope you and yours will share your thoughts on my post *shameless plug*
