Catching up

mizarchivistWell, did the archivist regional conference thingy on Friday/Saturday- It was decent. Met a few new folk, saw some colleages I'd not seen in a while.
These things are damned draining, though, so by Sat. afternoon, I was toast.
Yesterday's bike ride was very good. I'm hoping dance class will be a happy thing, too.
Mailed the Taxman today. *sigh*- I will NOT go into the hell it was to get the last of it pulled together on Friday morning. Simply, Matt is going to have some long talks with Ohio accountant w/in the next few weeks.
My dad will be arriving by Thursday night or Friday afternoon- Mom's visiting Wendy in NY, Dad's driving her up but not sticking around the mini-goat farm. He'd rather chill with us heathens in more urban Bahhhhstahhhhn. He's actually interested in the Lexington Patriot's Day happenings a week from today. I've never seen it, so we'll walk up, say "Yep. Folk in period costume," and retreat.
Dad's not visited solo in almost 5 years now, so I'm looking forward to this. Hopefully we can find fun outdoor stuff to do, but I'm thinking we'll have to go see Bulletproof Monk or the like on one of the evenings.
