mizarchivistSo, I've been clothes shopping 2x in 2 days. You may now look for the pod.
Well, the first shot yesterday was to return the skirts Matt bought for my bday, but Mega-ass didn't work with them. I have a foray into the heart of darkness: H&M in downtown crossing. At 3:30 on a Friday. I'm on crack. Everything there is brown, black, white, and beige. it's odd. I find a pair of low-rider linen wide-legged (ok, bell-bottom) pants, a stripy sleeveless and a funky black with flower pattern razor-back tank top, which all looks good with the pants.
Today Manders and I go to finish the shopping, which is essentially me buying my present from Dad. She was SOOO cute. I said before we went in: no red, no black. She wouldn't let me pick up anything of either color... unless it was minor usage, like trim.
I check out the capri section on the premise that these would simply be regular pants that for once in my entire frickin' life doesn't need a hem-job. I find a sorta cute pair of white ones (yeah. White. Definitely go look for a pod) with a design up at the top in reds and stuff. I'm right. They're the same length as the pants I wore to the store. [demonic laughter at my cleverness] Also found a pair of olive shorts and undies. Not bad. Thanks, Dad.
This calls for jello-shots. Well, no not really. But there's a lot here right now and I'm eager to try the peach ones.
