Breakfast in the back yard with my folks

The birds are chirping, the sky is blue, dew on the grass- poached eggs, English muffins, and coffee. Discussions of guerilla tree plantings 'round town by dad, Eddie Izzard references interspersed (although that was mostly last night) and the beach with folk shortly.

We're at asparagus-shallot quiche here, with brownies and baked marinated chicken with goat cheese and green salad to follow. It's just a foodie morning, methinks.

crud! Sorry I forgot to call. By the time I was out of rush hour, my brain was scrambly
oooh- grass poached eggs. That sounds.... nasty. *grin*
