I did this photoshop montage at some point many months ago and just up-loaded it. Given the similarity between River with sharp things and Buffy from that specific moment- early Season 2- the combo had to be done. I'd love to find a variation that improves on this (like a better/more realistic pic of River) and one that can be shrunk for LJ icon useage.

You need a picture of River from the end of the fight scene as the doors open, right before the axe drips blood. *laugh*

Given River's dark coloration I'd be more inclined to juxtapose that particular image with Faith than with Buffy. Also, Faith seems more personality-like to River.

For coloration, I totally agree, but philosophically/innocence factors, Buffy and River are better matched. Also, I've yet to see a pic of Faith with an axe or a big mahonkin' sword. Yet.

But that isn't River, is it? It's the chica they have pictured on the DVD but but the real one. The real one is so much more waif-like. And no eyeliner.

And I recognise that Buffy shot. From the episode when she's in LA, right? Or is my geek-sense suffering for lack of Buffy-watching?

No- that's River, alright. It's the pic they took of her for the US poster. I really really need that one from the end of the movie with her hair stringy and the blades black with blood. That's the girl we know and love.

You are correct, my sweet- that's Buffy in LA, season 2, the "Anne" episodes.
