mizarchivistI hope everyone's parties were fun last night. I've already a few recountings and it sounds like they were- My apologies for not being able to attend all of them. I was in 7th heaven going to the birthday party for costume-making cute red head (as opposed to blues singing hawt red head, whose birthday isn't for a few months yet) - including our hostess, K and I, 11 people. Perfect. Great food and wine and no notable hangover this morning.
Today- windows get the plastic treatment. Also there is plans for pie-making. Maybe cookie making, too. Yesterday was all savories all the time: split pea soup, chili, and curry. The prepare for winter instinct clearly turned up to 11. On my list of things that must be part of my life sooner than later: fuzzy slippers like the kind at LL Bean. The wind was pretty spectacular last time I was out there- on the way home last night on the top deck of 93, I was imagining some of the other cars like the big ol' empty pickups would be flipped the hell off. So, yeah. Brrr.
