I decided yesterday I'd ride my bike to Alewife instead of take the bus as usual... and I did it! I think I got in a few minutes earlier than I might have. Now I hope I'm not to sore to ride home!! In the meantime, I'm happy/content/otherwise satisfied with my lot in life.
I'm planning on putting together the display today--- although I think a trip to Staples is necessary. I need to find something to temporarily stick everything down. We'll see.
Tomorrow I have an outreach meeting at my library and three of the four new members will be there, which is really cool. I have to remember to bring snacky treats and some of my clay creatures to show off to Anne who likes polymer clay stuff. (like the pic with this entry). I'm looking forward to having everyone meet the new folk (or remeet) and catch up.
Saturday I go up to Jaffrey for an outreach event- should be a nice day and I'm hoping the drive is tolerable.
I was sooo industrious last night: I went to get a bit more food at the grocery, put stuff away, made chili in the crockpot, cleaned up after dinner, did most of the laundry, and then made snickerdoodle cookies. Like a dunce I didn't check the ingredients before I went to the store. Cream of tartar is required. I'd heard of it but had no idea what it was used for. Well, it turns out to make sweet things better. Wouldn't know it from the name! Given I'd already gone to the store once, I tried the neighbors first. On the 4th try, I hit paydirt. So, I brought them some of the really really yummy cookies when I was done.
Go me!
