Mini vacation- yay!! & [health/weight]
So, from 2:30 Monday until 2:30 Tuesday during working hours, I helped label, forge, colate, stuff, and seal (ort! ort! ort!) for our fundraiser. One full work day of mindless work. Mind you, every single person in the library minus Simmons interns were doing this, too. That was 6 people the first day, 5 the next. By the end of yesterday, I was wrecked. However, it's done. And
purple_terror soothed me with saki and sushi.
I slept in way more than I probably should have today, but it felt so good, and the next few nights I'll be sleeping in Maine, so bed situation will be tolerable at best. Since I had bailed on exercising yesterday, I did a 45 min routine today, which is my new favorite (cardio party 1, Manders) Additionally, I tried The Leather Pants. I feel very confident that I could wear them for an entire evening. That went well enough I tried the next set of no-longer-fitting pants. A set of WWII Navy bellbottoms- the kind with a bazillion buttons in front- deep blue wool. I used to be able to wear them in college. I tried them on earlier this year and there was no buttoning.
Guess what. They buttoned. It did take some effort. And I think it was a sausage casing finish, but. They. Buttoned. Bwah! I wiiiiiiiiiin!
So, counter to that success, I'm going to go get some half and half for the ice cream I'm taking to Maine. Heh.
