Hollaback and Comics Query

So, a brief list of Stuff.

OK- Comics. My mom is slated to teach the art side of a graphics novel class at the community college in the winter. Isn't that the coolest ever?!
She needs a reading list so she can get a full scope of what's out there and what's good. The only one she has right now is Jeff Smith's Out of Boneville. I've told her about Sandman and Fray already.Tell me what your all time favorites are and why she should read it.

Good juju smiles on the archivist at work

Holy crrrrap, but that was cool! I am now oriented to updating the web page. We are now happy. Fears laid to rest, uncertainty as well. Nothing I saw was entirely foreign and some of the miscommunications were explained by understandable situations. Once they were explained.
Then when we were wrapping up with web guy, microfilm guy came in. Wow, with the cool cool cool. First, a charming and attractive man. Maybe a little bit of the Sidhe in his blood with those piercing blue eyes and bright white hair. Older gent, mind you. He's the Man To Know if you need to deal with microfilm in New England (all the professionals out there who want more detail, email me). He told me what was up with the machine that started to act very badly yesterday and will fix it. I found him via another company- the first place I called that sounded like they might know about machine repair. I got a call within the hour after the first phone call. He was here less than 24 hours later. We have a deal to get it all cleaned up and not a gazillion dollars.
See, I'm not that complicated. Really, I'm not. I freely admit I fly off the handle, get angry or at least impassioned, but what causes me to become so and what fixes me fall within some pretty logical patterns. You can go from being a jerk with no redeeming qualities to a prince of the realm by addressing the contention. Except for maybe that guy this morning who was swearing at me just because I was walking past him.  So, yeah. The Archivist is happy. I'm going to spend the next several days crippling myself with web editing. Hee.
