Snarking and Weeding
We may very well get a Very Important Collection, but the collection is 60 boxes of archive material. Gah!!! But it's already been organized by someone with professional training.
So, the next stage in yak shaving is going through and discarding off-topic books faster. We're focusing on "Science, other" which includes natural science, technological advancement, physics, and aging. Lots of these Live the Best You Can in Your Golden Years sorts of things. Many of these coping with aging books were written in the 1930s to late 40s. Safe to say the attitude about hitting 40 was not the one that I have. By a long shot. Sheeeesh. My estimate is that we'll only be keeping 5% of this section. So there.
