Very satisfied
The cycles have safely returned from their NH storage. Thanks to
nchanter for assisting in the ride-ness. And always to Dr. K &
sebastian_tombs for giving the storage. The new pants are as awesome as I had hoped. I hadn't really thought about some of the features of the pants when we got them, particularly the zippered pockets. No more losing my stuff out of my jeans! Yay! The new tank bag was also acquired today (more yay!)- I'll be putting it to use tomorrow .
Not only did I get the motorcycle on an ideal riding day, but I got to play the Firefly RPG (Keep Flying). We haven't managed 100% group attendance yet, but I think we might manage the next session. Much snark and some secrets were finally told. I'm waiting for our GM to drop something awful on us. Today was mostly getting the last character introduced to the rest of the crew.
Then more riding, food... yeah. :) On the way home I felt like one of my limbs or senses had been given back to me after months absence. The bike is behaving beautifully after last year's tune up. The air smelled so good and it was still comfortable after the sun went down. The ride through the back streets was entirely stress free, too.
Today was a pretty fantastic birthday present (ok, still a few days early, but I'll take it).
Now- could we please have M. and K. not be sick? That'd be great.
