Sorkin Incestuousness
Since finishing my West Wing and Sports Night marathons, I'd not watched the prequel to it all: The American President. Good GOD! Sorkin loves to use the same actors.
I'm sitting here comparing Michael Douglas as president vs. Martin Sheen. Martin, hands down. So many familiar faces, camera shots, turns of phrase. Teehee! Similarly, Joshua Malina featured in last night's ep of SG-1, and here he is again in the movie. Snerf.
Also Annette Benning giggles and simpers way too much.
In other news, I shook my groove thang at the Booty Vortex show last night. Clearly, I'm not as young as I used to be, for I've been slug-like all day. Although I do chalk some of it up to being too damned cold! Thank the gods for fuzzy slippers and hoodies.
