I think that was my 5th time watching Serenity on the big screen. I stayed awake for 99.9% of it. There were some seriously fantastic outfits on folk. I have never been able to peg myself as just one character (although I wish I could), rather an amalgam of many, but it would be great to get a Capt. Tightpants getup. I love the whole look. And I am Captain, after all. Maybe in the sequel I'll see someone who is closer to my demeanor and body type. Nod. They had another raffle for swag, and ahf won a money pack done up like the stuff used in the movie.
I went through a very wild part of Allston on the way back. I don't remember the last time I saw so many drunk kids! I feel so old, but in a really nice and comfortable way. When I wake up in several hours, I won't feel like my brains were smashed out by a slice of lemon wrapped round a large gold brick. Gold is heavy, FYI. I'm wondering why part of Storrow was blocked off. Probably a wreck under the bridge I wanted to go under.
I got to play a fun game of tag with some bikers who were also at the screening. I recogised their riding gear and the purty blue sporty bike. They, unsurprisingly took their leave at Rt. 2, what with me not being able to break 70 with ease, I didn't try. Still, neat.
Wow. I don't recall the last time I was up til 3.

Get my rant on, bicycle path style

Ok, I should not feel compelled to yell to the 2 rollerbladers, "Red Rover, Red Rover, I'm gonna bowl you over." I've determined the 2 are very co-dependent in that they can't bear to not hold hands even while on a Very Busy Bike Path. Seriously. Hordes and hordes. I will remember this for next time and avoid Sunday afternoon in favor of any other point ever, except for possibly Saturday. Wow.

cook, cook like the wiiiind!

This weekend, but mostly today, I have made:

• Ice cream (chocolate and vanilla. Chocolate has to wait til the bowl freezes again though)
• Salad
• Crudite cut up
• Banana bread
• Peach pie
• Meatloaf, (veal + lamb for curry)
• Curry sauce with veg
• Rice for the curry

quiet_elegance is cooking up the chicken now for tomorrow or whenever. purple_terror has not contributed to the cooking side of things, but his car looks brand new again it's so clean and shiny.
