stoopid shoes!!

If you didn't know, I will tell you that finding white or more particularly off white shoes when it's not the height of wedding season is pretty damn hard. I decided I'd try my luck on eBay and my gamble did not pay off. I did only pay about 18 bucks for them, including shipping, but WOW. Not fitting. I now have a pair of off white medium height heels that say 8.5, but are more like a very narrow 7.5, if that. I didn't want to spend real money on shoes I'm not likely to wear more than in a blue moon, but I now have 6 days to find them. Michaelson's here in Lexington is my first avenue. They are good at having sensible shoes. I'll hope for the best. DSW was pretty much a no- win when I tried 2 weeks ago. Anyone else have any thoughts on this? I don't want to have to go out to Dedham, Danvers, or Natick if I don't have to (that's where David's outlets are, and they always have off-white shoes)
If anyone has suggestions on other store options, lemme know.
Also, if anyone needs aforementioned style of shoe that I can't wear, I'll cut ya a great deal.

buxom_bey's shoes fit me and she's letting me use hers for the time being and emerlion will send hers on for future use.
Also I was clearing out my closet, doing the seaonsal switch over, like one does eventually. Well, it was time to see how the old interview suit fit, and my "funeral dress." Ummm NO. I'm a size 10, usually. It was an 8. The funnier was the suit. the jacket: size 4. skirt: 6. However, cathijosephine needs interview clothes, and is a 7 1/2 shoe, so she's going to take a crack at the whole set. I'd call that a win. I don't know what I'll do with the dress. I may take it to Poor Little Rich Girl if I don't find a home otherwise. My grandmother bought it for me, so it'll be a shame to send it off :/ (hm. Maybe my cousin will fit in it...)   
Oh, in other shopping news: quiet_elegance and I bought glasses today. I can't wait to get mine. They're going to be extra cute. I may have to wear them for a while on the principle of new and cute
