Oh --- Ohio, hi n' stuff
I'm tired and my brain is too full to let me go to bed yet, as is the way of things. So more bullet points so I can sleep
- Happy birthday, mom!
- I sat for my portrait this afternoon. Mom'd been having issues with the painting she started from a picture alone. Hopefully by tomorrow she will have it sketched out enough to make it work
- My ipod's screen cracks have gotten progressively worse . Who knew that dropping it face down on tile would be detrimental? I called ahead to the ipod clinic (aka Dad) so he worked on that this evening. He is the ipod doctor so can Frankenstein them. Well, there's a nice screen, new hard drive and battery. The just new screen wiped my library. You know, beggars can not be choosers. I'm just happy that once I do get resynched that I will be able to read the display.
- I got to visit with Amy and my nieces. Funny how the kids just keep growing while you're not paying attention. We geeked Glee, like you do.
- Great visit with
samuraizergling . Plots continue apace to add him to our east coast collective.
- Tomorrow I get to see Dale and go to this party Mom's been raving about.
- Should have packed another book.
- Icon chosen because it was taken in Mom's back yard - hey, 'round this time of year, even. The garden this year is staggering. I have garden envy. And to think I used to dislike the whole notion- ech! Dirt! ... not so much anymore.
