House Improvements!

OK, I'm too tired to write more than a bit and put up yet another picture.
My parents did a LOT of stuff around the house- garden mainly.  More on that later, I think.

Missing out

Life is full of small sacrifices. This week's sacrifice is missing a cousin's wedding back in Ohio (the second eldest of the Catholic cousins). My mother's 2 sisters are arriving in a few days and staying with my parents. Apparently the event will be quite a THING. I'm past my safe fly window by a few weeks, and... yeah. No way I'd get on a plane in this state. I was on one at the end of May, so really no. And if not that, then a no when it comes to further expense or losing PTO, which is very precious now.

Nevertheless. I'm wistful.
