purple_terror and since I'd not been on the bike since the pool party 2 weeks ago, I insisted we go by motobike. Although there was a moment of confusion that went like this:
Me: Let's go get Indian, then ride our bikes to the theater
He: [completely baffled, even horrified look and pregnant pause]
Me: What?!
He: You want to have dinner and ride our bikes all the way to the Woburn theater within an hour and 45 minutes?!
Me: [pause... lightbulb] motorcycles
He: well, you were being ambiguous.
Me: Up til 2 weeks ago, there would have only been one answer you know.
[peals of spastic, hysterical laughter]
The fastest way from the house to the movie involves a few miles of highway. It was my first highway run. That wind. Yeah. Wind. Ech. I'm glad I have a windshield to put on.
Anyway, show was very worthwhile, although the one Philly shot that could have had P_T in it went by so fast. We'll go freeze-frame on the DVD.
They were doing construction/repaving on 95 on the way home. Um, 2 inch lip to get to the next lane was daunting. However, they're finally going to repave the back road home. Good thing too. Those pot-holes could easily eat a Cooper Mini or a Honda Rebel.
