I was thinking about [personal profile] fraterrisus this morning, as he's very fond of listening to Albums, while I tend to be a Playlist sort of girl. Well, the problem with playlists is that it's easy to get stuck in a rut, so instead I arranged itunes to "Most recently added," as I reclaimed some of Dad's disks when I was home, particularly Beatles: Let It Be, Revolver, Rubber Soul... It had been so long since I'd heard them, I forgot how amazing they are, particularly in record-order.
In other rambly news, coffee. Our coffee maker isn't capable of making a hot cup of coffee if it's just for one mug. It is just getting wound up when it's over- poor baby. So, I've taken to Mom's old method of coffee making: plastic filter holder directly over the mug. Unlike back then, I am not using those dreadful paper filters, but the reuseable one from the coffee maker. Since we got an electric kettle at Christmas, it's .... I dunno. Frickin' brilliant. Really. Hot. Coffee. And since I'm pouring the hot water directly onto the grounds and it smells so nice!!!! Hi. Did I mention I just had a full dose of caffiene? Yeah, well, duh. I did.
Further rambly-ness- in the course of other people's conversations, I was put onto the idea of oil cleansing via [personal profile] dietrich. I've only done 2 days so far, but I feel like my face is happier. I am inordinantely that I may have struck upon a solution that costs practically nothing and doesn't involve any harsh chemicals, ever.
Eventually [profile] purple_terror will be back and we'll head down to Providence for the weekend. Given the state of my nerves and lungs this week, I didn't do the 11th hour help at LBD. I'll save it for booth-babeing. Someone has to be not on the raggedy edge, after all. Realistically, I don't think we'll be back til late Sunday, given the load out and obligatory BBQ that follows 2 day flea.

And for those who may have decided to hide under rocks or in bomb shelters after my psychotic post yesterday, I feel MUCH better today, promise!

yeah, I was very much for the hiding-and-not-bothering-you yesterday. Glad you're feeling better.

Travel safe and I hope you have a great weekend. Also, if you haven't seen the movie previews that came out today let me know and I'll send you a particularly tasty URL.
