The only email I've gotten this afternoon has been So Big virused.
Thanks to the asshole who set up the virus scan for the rest of the library, I can't access the software (on the server) to see if it's all up to date because it requires a password I don't have. Well, actually I didn't need to access it to find out it's out of date. It told me before I got started. 90 days or so since the last time it was updated.
And the asshole isn't answering his phone, so there are 6 machines down there exposed to this new masterpiece of destruction.
I was already pretty tense before all this. Now I'm resembling a bow-string. At least my machine is independent so I don't have to seriously worry about it at the second. Sort of. In 10 minutes, it won't matter, though. And I have a feeling the asshole will call by tomorrow.

So far all I've seen is a couple of bounce messages from virus email that got sent out with my address as the "From:" line. I'm quit happy with this.
