The only email I've gotten this afternoon has been So Big virused.

Thanks to the asshole who set up the virus scan for the rest of the library, I can't access the software (on the server) to see if it's all up to date because it requires a password I don't have. Well, actually I didn't need to access it to find out it's out of date. It told me before I got started. 90 days or so since the last time it was updated.
And the asshole isn't answering his phone, so there are 6 machines down there exposed to this new masterpiece of destruction.

I was already pretty tense before all this. Now I'm resembling a bow-string. At least my machine is independent so I don't have to seriously worry about it at the second. Sort of. In 10 minutes, it won't matter, though. And I have a feeling the asshole will call by tomorrow.

Oh, is there a big virus attack going on? No wonder I have a billion spam messages in my crap folder with the same sets of subjects. Windows weenies.

Those comments make me real glad both my ISP and work accounts have pretty heavy duty spam/virus filtering.

So far all I've seen is a couple of bounce messages from virus email that got sent out with my address as the "From:" line. I'm quit happy with this.
