It would appear that I'm getting sick: tonsils misbehaving and body aches.
What's somewhat spooky is that Fearless Leader requested I pull something for him on Friday just in case I was out sick Monday.
On more cheerful news: I helped K. spend his money yesterday buying tons of wine. Food shopping seemed to go on forever, but we altered the usual Wilson Farm then Stop n' Shop routine by going to Whole Foods in Bedford for my granola (mmmm hempy goodness) and then checking out the S n' S there. It's much bigger than the S n' S in Lexington, but the checkout girls aren't half so cute. Wonder what's up with that? The Bedford one also is naughty for tempting me/us with towers, and I mean towers of snickers. Easliy 6 feet tall and 4 feet across of snickity snack size bags. They're obviously gearing up for Halloween now. Fattening us all up for the Hansel and Gretel witch, perchance?
Despite my downward health spiral, I'm looking forward to the first roast chicken dinner of the season.
