It was somewhat novel having folks to choose from in a primary. I was able to remind a neighbor (has only lived in the area for about a year) that it was around and what I learned from my last minute research into the candidates. I really prefer morning voting, as there's almost no lines. While I don't plan on Diesel tonight- I'd like the option to change my mind, so win. And I got a sticker. I love those things. Early Skinner-like response instilled in me by my teachers, I think. Stickers = reward.

Teeth: I discovered when I went for my dental checkup that I clench my teeth. Fixing a cracked filling costs $75 (with my insurance via Gentle Dental- YMMV). Naturally we couldn't do preventative medicine with ins, and get a custom night guard. Those are $350 for me. The CVS route it was- first attempt with a guard was utter failure: the kind that you boil and bite to get a "custom" fit. Hah. Just too much material- never felt like it was going to stay, and promotes drooling. All that means you spend all night fighting to keep it in place and don't actually sleep. But, I figured, I got the cheapest kind there was. Maybe there's a higher end one. Turns out there is. When you have less material and a lower jaw placement- it may be distracting, but it stays and I think I can get used to it.

So, to sum up: I know I'm not the only one out there who has to deal with this. I would recommend DenTek's no-boil, "one size fits all" type- runs about $45. They're one size fits all because they slide to adjust.
