Not in Mumbai
I'm thankful that my mom's elder sister, Leslie, is still in Hong Kong and not yet in India. She wasn't going to Mumbai, but very close in Pune for her Yogi's 90th birthday.
My Thanksgiving wish is for there to be less of that explodey/stupid kind of thing this coming year. That would be nice.
The dinner in Maine will be served at noon, so I'm foregoing breakfast, I think. Maybe some toast. I started to knit a hat. The adolescent kittehs are very cute. ... good lord- if we're eating at noon, I wonder when they started the turkey?! Anyway- I'm keeping my fingers crossed that this year will be a more interactive visit than last year- so far so good.

Yeah, that. always throws me.
Can you imagine what that is like for a guy who comes from a culture where they have dinner at 8:00 pm?

So, I've read enough literature to know that in some cultures, dinner:lunch::supper:dinner, but turkey at noon is still just odd. Much joy to you and yours, and may the conversation flow smoothly and well.
