I had a lovely time last night and fell asleep in the future.

Neil Gaiman said some wonderful things worth sharing with you-

May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness. I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you're wonderful, and don't forget to make some art -- write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can. And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.
...I hope you will have a wonderful year, that you'll dream dangerously and outrageously, that you'll make something that didn't exist before you made it, that you will be loved and that you will be liked, and that you will have people to love and to like in return. And, most importantly (because I think there should be more kindness and more wisdom in the world right now), that you will, when you need to be, be wise, and that you will always be kind.

I want to do all those things, but art is the first thing on the list. Arisia's two weeks away! Meep!

This is wonderful. I think I'll quote you, quoting him.

And you looked *scorching* last night, honey.

Thanks again for the amazing food and company last night, and thanks for those very cool Words of Wisdom from Mr. Gaiman. I think I need to take those to heart.

Happy New Year and hope to see you soon! :)

I knew that somewhere in that giant room would be people I knew.

The giant room that was the Symphony hall on New years eve (if you heard Neil Gaiman read his little new years wish)

I had this horrible moment in which I thought it was NEXT weekend and kind of freaked. Then relaxed.

I was very glad you spent part of your New Year's celebration with us. You are, probably, my best friend right now, which is both pretty cool and pretty surprising.
