So, a good day yesterday--
I had picked up my cousin, Katherine, a bit later than expected on Thursday night-
After a day of food shopping and a great deal of talking, [livejournal.com profile] caulay , Katherine, and I headed to Lowell for the Indigo Girls concert. It was a perfect night for it. We got lucky and found [livejournal.com profile] curlychick  and her Blonde, we eventually fit in [livejournal.com profile] fraterrisus . To say it was crowded? Yeah- it was crowded. I did not see any Boston  Militia players, but I am not sure I'd recognise them without their jerseys on. (sorry, E.) There were an epic number of kids because Eastern Bank subsidized to have anyone under 12 go in for free. Also- a zillion pregnant women. What is up with that?
However, despite all the crowd, we had a very nice picnic, chatted, and were entertained by the most adorable band evar: Coyote Grace. Want to know how cute they are?
Here.

I wish I'd had more forethought to get my shoulder behind that lovely double-bassist (Ingrid)- But here we are with my many-dorable (not just adorable) cousin.
The main act, as always: fantastic. [livejournal.com profile] fraterrisus  and I were stunned by how much old stuff they played. Kid Fears? Yeah. "Who gets to sing Michael Stipe's bit?".... oh. WE do! (Although first runner up Joe- the one w/ the gorgeous beard from Coyote Grace)

... anyway great show.
