Hey! Finally a meme that doesn't seem so invasive that I dare not post...
Reminds you of ex lovers:
Sting, Enya, Peter Gabriel
Makes you cry:
Off of the Ken Burns Civil War documentary- Ashokan Farewell/Sullivan Ballou Letter - Paul Roebling/David McCullough. It's enough to break your heart. It was also one of the pieces was in a dance recital I was in about 10 years ago.
Makes you smile:
John Prine
Makes you laugh:
depends on my mood and how new the music is to me.
You never want to hear again:
Dido, Celine Dion singing in English.
Reminds you of your childhood:
Rolling Stones, Bob Dylan, Mary McCastlin & Jim Ringer, Free To Be You And Me... Lots more. Dad's an audiophile
Sums up your teenage years:
I went through phases. (god help me) Poison for jr. high; Depeche Mode and Concrete Blonde for high school
You want to get married to:
I really don't remember. We had a great DJ for the after. The during, I was too strung out to recall ;)
You like to wake up to:
classical on the radio. Keeps song virus to a minimum, but there's the real chance of accidentally catching part of the news.
You like out of your parents record collection:
Most of it.
You love but you wouldn't know about if it wasn't for a friend:
Chucklehead, Rippopotamus, originally Ani Difranco (Thanks, Doug)
You love the video more than the tune:
I don't get to see enough videos of songs anymore. :P
Reminds you of your first crush:
random sappy love songs from 1987.
Makes you think of sex:
Lords of Acid, of course ;)- lots of others, but they have a monopoly on sexsexsex
Makes you think of being alone:
Suzanne Vega
Are (almost) embarrassed to admit you like:
Christina Aguilara... at least the singles from the past few years are surprisingly not entirely sucky blush
You love to sing:
Limp Bizkit's- Break Shit while driving alone on the highway
Any Ani Difranco
