Obligatory New Year Post

Hi!
A brief bit of observation-

• I'm relieved that quiet_elegance 's time on the bench appears to have abated. For 6+ months, it really could have been much more stressful, and for that I'm grateful. Our early years of bleeding money and sprouting emergencies every few months I hope is behind us now that we have the capacity to plan and save.
• My own work is not the most exciting thing ever, but it's steady and building towards ever-more complicated activities. They still like me and I still like them. We are acquiring another part time student helper. At this rate our head librarian will insinuate a whole fleet of workers under the board's nose without them really realizing it. Now to find more room for the fleet to do their business.
• The year in craftiness has been spectacular. I'd never really kept track of sales before this year, but I'd also never attended 5 events, either. I know for a fact I can't duplicate that in the next 12 months, but I will be at Arisia, as usual. I've been working on Hellboy this very evening. I'd like to do some interesting Steampunky necklaces and/or pins and leave behind all the pedestrian (but pretty) work. But it is only 2 weeks away. Aie!
• I very much hope 2011 is about positive growth to make up for all the negative, bad, and death that has been striking all around me n' mine. Please? Thanks.
