For those not on the sprog filter, I have been pretty chatty there. However, this is big enough to note:

17 weeks, 6 days (solidly mid-4th month for those who don't quantify by week- like most of you) - sonogram today.
I have to agree with my dad that deferring the answer as to gender is not very realistic.

No way no how could that particular part of the scan be mis-construed. I'll leave further potential details and ongoing ranty pants about gender roles foisted on infants to the filter.

Consider this info public knowledge now. And remember I'm planning on buying ballet slippers and a hammer (OK, maybe not entirely non-ranty ;)

My parents have already started shopping for a tiny work bench that can go out in the garage next to grandpa's work bench so they can fix things together.
