Of Course... Have to say something
cut becuase I expect this'll sound like 99% of all posts about Arisia and I'd rather not bore you all to tears.
Getting registration up and running, overall- went great. Despite random scheduling crud (like folk not showing up and fire alarms), we had rather short lines. The software was easy to use and the volunteers seemed to grok most of the time. Our Solutions helpers were great and if you're reading, thanks again :-)
Mind you, I think I dreamt I was still doing reg last night.
Bryt did a fantastic job again, and has started the cleanse of separating herself from the reg cycle. I think the hair-buzz (mmmm- freshly mown kitten) helps. A ritual, if you will. Plus it's wicked butch of her.
I socialized, remembered to eat, slept some, and fwiw, didn't spend any money except for food. There were a significant number of people around I either only see at cons or once in a blue moon when they come for someone's party.
Now I need to figure out how to get my 12 hours of volunteering in so I can continue to get in free, but not be so engrossed that Arisia eats my life before the con even starts... or eats it so I don't get to do stuff I want to while there. :-) I have a while to think about it, though.
However, whatever it will be, it won't be reg! I mean it!

- Get info changes from badge pick-up sheets to Shayde/Jasra for entry into congo/back-entry into regdb
- Figure out which no-shows are rollovers & get list to Shayde/Jasra for entry into congo/back-entry into regdb
- Get no-show/no-rollover list to Shayde/Jasra for entry into congo/back-entry into regdb
- Do no-show mailing? Ask Treasury if there's money for it?
- Work with Shayde/Jasra to figure out who's keying the Sharing/Not-Sharing from the reg forms (& other missing data?), since the sign-in screens weren't designed in concert with the forms. (I'd like to be not-it, but I'm not sure it doesn't fall under the purview of HoR04 (Head of Reg-A04, silly, what did you think I meant!?!?!!?).)
- Thank you notes (for both FFF & Arisia) - yes, I know you're probably doing them, but I want to thank people too (esp Cory - I think I freaked her out a little).
- What else can you think of?
Oh & hey, are you missing a green scarf? I found one in my room & it's not Crissy's/Chuck's/Rourke's/Yngvar's/etc...
