From football hooligans. The screaming has begun in earnest. I really really really hope they go away by 4 so I can go home without being mobbed.

you should have seen the line of cars trying to get into Alewife this morning. I don't know what they were thinking... it's not like there's a LOT of space left there when the normal commuters are done with it. duh.

ahf commented on that when I talked to her. She said people were parking back at the closed dance club and walking to Alewife from there, as well as filling every space that might hold a car in Powerhouse Square and walking to Davis.

I doubt there's an open parking space withing hiking distance of public transportation right now. I looked out and our lot is full and we're a quarter mile from a train station.

Ah. Good weather *and* no professional sports team. Lucky I live Hawaii.

Pity they're in your face, though. I don't suppose a good sniper rifle would help...?

The crowd noise has been replaced by the constant droning of helicopters. I suspect something's happening at the State House now.

Helicopter being a constant makes me twitchy in the invasion sense.
