Positive Feedback Loop

primal_pastry texted me at 8 asking if I was going to a party that she was going to. I was not up to that second. I don't know if I even knew that was happening. Would I be interested in going for a while and giving her a ride home ? Ummm... angst angst (2 minutes later...) yes. OK. I will pick you up even, at the T. 

I had the difficulty of actually arriving at the party. That's often the worst part. If I can acclimate to a party, I am often just fine to quite well after that point. Yes, not a surprise to many. 

And since that went so well, I'm remembering why I go out and next time it'll be easier.
