I'm Wunnin 'Way

mizarchivistI feel it's important to document the first known attempt of my progeny to run away.
Age: 3 years 4+months.
Height: shorter than me
Weight: not quite 40 lbs
Physical limitations: can't quite maneuver zippers... or see over a dashboard... or tell the difference between blue and green.
Chosen outside wear: baseball cap, light hoodie (with a zip), shoes. (No socks)
Chosen accessories: bag of train parts in a zipped up cloth bag and a car key with Dahk Mater (Darth Vader) for Uncle's car.
Plan: To run away. And go to the farm to get a pumpkin, which will be happy. Then go to Andrew's house.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
rintrahroars will say it's OK. But don't worry, he's coming back. He sang the coming back song and everything.
Action: Actually maneuvered a bag 1/3 of his general dimensions filled with wooden tracks out to the front hall. He opened the front door and walked tofubar's car. And hit the lock button... And I pulled the plug and carried him back inside. We called rintrahroars who said Crime Fighter couldn't run away to her house, but maybe a playdate later? .... oooookaaaay.
We are now having a pre-bedtime snack and petitioning for a treat.
