As in, may I have at least another month? Ah well.

SAA was overall a good thing, but way too long. Much networking and that is good. I'm happy I got to reconnect with my first intern, Gwen. She has recently moved back from a few years abroad -Germany. I hope she can find a job soon.

The remainder of the weekend was quite busy. Flea weekends always are.

The sushi/Diesel socializing with Robin and Caulay last night was quite good. I need more sushi!!

Much in the works here at work. New Librarian, as opposed to Fearless Leader, seems to be breaking in nicely. We now have a coffee pot and NLib has started (gasp!) shelf reading! Much joy there. Now if only I could clear the decks of old FL's damned correspondence. It's the neverending project. Hmph. ... Lunchtime yet??

I'm quite ready for some nice fall weather, personally. I want to get out and ride more, and it's just been too hot to sit on the gasoline heater if I hit traffic. Of course I won't be back till September, so I may just get my wish.
