Ok. Put behind the cut. Mangosteen, this was worthy.
Stuff I've done that may well be unique
1. Got married to
2. Got hit on my a female English chicken-hawk in an Amsterdam gay bar
3. established a successful, on-going educational program about archives and preservation
4. had the movie plot romance at summer camp: suburban white girl dates blind black piano player. But my parents didn't pitch a fit
5. At the age of 3, went to the emergency room to get new stitches in and while there, they took old stitches taken out
6. Wrote fan mail as a teenager to a quasi-celebrity Flo Gibson (narrator for Recorded Books, Inc.) and because of it, got a phone call from Herself -and a semi-permanent bit of fame on their website: http://www.audiobookcontractors.com/letters.htm
7. Memorised entire Firesign Theater sketches before I knew what most of the jokes meant
8. Was introduced to the artistic stylings of Frank Zappa by my father as a means to relieve boredom, again as a very young child. And it worked.
9. Would wish my parents on anybody, because they're that cool. (this one I suspect will be one of the less unique things but still very noteworthy.)
10. Was an apprentice to a sign carver as my first post-high school job. I left that job with the basics of sign carving and gilding.
