Ohio Visit: Day Two

gahhh- maybe that mocha was a bad idea. I'm a twitchy girl!
... may have something to do with calling up a high school friend (and step brother to my infamous ex) for the first time in probably 8 years or so. He wasn't home, so only a message- but still. Just calling left me with butterflies. [why? what if he hates my guts after the less than smooth break up w/ DKJ? I'm not so keen on rejection. But, if that be the case, he won't call back.]

Going to the high school with mom today was somethin' else. She teaches 3 classes and does lunch monitoring. Girls these days are a lot more stylish and downright gorgeous than I remember. Good thing I have my protective girly camoflage and mild demeanor to cover the actual thoughts in my head.

Ma and I did make it to see Sith. I give it 2 thumbs up. Lucas pulled something together that pulls it back together. I'm pleased I've retained my original vhs so I can see Han shoot first in New Hope. Mind you, I still say the radio dramas for that and Empire are way better than the movies.

I've found Gina and Amy, but no Manders (yet). Tomorrow's party will be entertaining, I do not doubt.

Tomorrow I also go looking for Serenity "canvases"- I'll be putting a conji together and silk screening some clothes. Anyone interested in that? I suspect I'll have it shipped home for me so I can work on that after I'm home.
