There are about 20-22 shirts that have been requested, which makes me very happy. I felt there had to be a minimum of 15 to make this work, but anything over 20 means that we don't have to recalculate for buying the shirts and I can easily get a few more screens to stream-line the process- ideally 4 screens total: 2 with the writing/symbols, 2 for the disk.
I now have had 3 interested parties requesting black shirts- If I do, I'm going to have to buy other colors specifically for them (so, smaller tubs) because I just don't think that red/yellow/black will work for that. However, depending on how well the prep goes and how much guess-work is removed for lining up shirt to screen, I think a little experimentation is a great idea.
I expect I'll be able to make a temporary barrier for the English so we can decide as we go along if we want to include it. I know
I think I probably have an almost unlimited amount of cardboard I can snag. Part of the prep will be to make armatures for the shirts and tape those in place in advance so we don't have to take out boards to do the next shirt. The less you fiddle, the more likely it'll line up right for the next go 'round.
Robin and I are extremely keen on making sure these look good. She's definitely helping on the 14th, and agreed to assist for the prep work. Yay! Bounce! Project!
