5. Gratzi beaucoup.
23. Eh, going by what's on my shelves, either Billy Joel or Joan Jett and the Blackhearts.

Aw, thanks.

Was it on your recommendation that I recently picked up Anne Bishop? Because if so, at the *very* least, we should get together and talk about books, that one in particular.

I'm pretty sure my first conversation ever with [livejournal.com profile] pixie_ysral, which was at [livejournal.com profile] skreeky's housewarming of her previous place, was the one where she recommended Anne Bishop to me. Which you just made me think of, so now I'm curious. Which book is "that one in particular" that you refer to?

And here I thought I was an optimist. Though maybe an optimist of a rather different bend. I have hope, does that count? *grin* Thank you for the complimentary opinion though. Best wishes.

Yep, ok, I must agree. (I'm missing subtlety by a few ounces of Bacardi Limon at the moment, later tonight I might be missing clue-by-fours.) I admit, though, I don't have a very favorable opinion on some religious points. The Dalai Lama makes mention in A Simple Path (http://www.amazon.com/exec/obidos/tg/detail/-/0007105509/103-9679325-2918201?v=glance), "Since we should respect all human beings, we must also respect those following different religious paths. . . We must therefore appreciate that potential in each religion, and respect all those who follow them." (p. 11) I can agree that I have met good people who are Christian. But I'm not so sure that I can respect Christianity any longer. I spent a greater portion of my 24 hour post last Sunday writing a small essay (three pages only) with "proofs" against the Christian concept of Satan. It's inherently part of a series I seem to be titling "Conflicts in Christianity" or maybe the "Case Against Christianity". I seem to be at a loss when it comes to that religion, seeing very little in it's dogma that is redeeming. *shrug* Maybe someday. Maybe I still feel betrayed by it. That's entirely possible, I'd suppose.

By-the-by, I finished In Search of Schrodinger's Cat last week. Its placement in your library is what prompted my purchase. Schrodinger's Kittens at first look appears to be quite entertaining as well. At any rate, my thanks to you for the read.
