Perspective
clothes shopping
Is it just me, or are dresses just not being sold these days? I will keep in mind I went to 3 chaotic locations: Filene's Basement, TJ Maxx, Marshall's. But Marshall's didn't even have a real dress section! It was a rack of flea-bitten/raggedy/upholsery options. Second run, if there is one, will be to Quincy Market where there are hippy shops. Gimme some skimming rayon or cotton in pretty colors.
Why dresses? Aside from why not, but I haven't bought a dress in years now and would like the option for something fresh and not black. And I'm going to a wedding in a week+ , it seemed the thing. There are alternatives in my closet, like kung fu pants.
work, not mine
I seem to be in a pretty set level of low energy and little enthusiasm. I figure a bit is psychic overflow from the hurricane coupled with the chronic economic juggling act that is this summer. I know progress is being made, but in the meantime there is the baggage that goes with what has been a season of unfortunate employment issues for my spouse.
If nothing else this last thing has proven to yet a new degree how resourceful he is. Despite the offical job not giving him more than 7-10 hours every week or so, he has managed to keep his end up with grace. There were many years when he'd come home pissed off at the work he did and the people he had to talk to every day (cow orkers and customers). His primary coworker, Warren, has been very consistant and supportive for months. Also the work that's getting done is interesting, challenging, and adds to the platform of Things To Know for future jobs.

So, what you're saying is that your "perspective" is that of a crazy woman?
