More blading

I had a very fun ride last night- I used my siezure-causing (well, I bet it would) blinky light on my back, carried a mini Mag, and the reflective vest. I felt much more confident and went all the way down to Trader Joe's (Arlington), which I estimate means 5 miles round trip. I had a physics lesson of speed = stability when I wasn't going fast enough over the flagstone speedbumps. Not in a go boom way but in a "woah, that was close" way.

quiet_elegance is unable to go to the Gaiman event tonight and so I have an extra ticket. First come, first served, otherwise I'll offer it up to one of the bereft waiting about outside. I expect I'll be there very close to 5:30, but not much earlier: must procure food for the fortifying.

see if you can get a sitter for the boys. If you can go I think you should.

He is fine- just unable to get to Harvard by 5:30/6. And anyway, he has job search maintenance that comes first.

Well, I'd say it's yours! About 6 years ago, Neil read from Smoke and Mirrors at MIT. I'd heard of him, but owned nothing of his, had read maybe one Sandman. I now own all of his text (vs. graphic) novels and aspire to get the complete set of Sandmans someday. So, I say come on down, fall in love with the pretty Englishman and his pretty accent ;)
