Oh. My. God.
Not the best of days thus far
A late bus = half an hour behind getting in to work
A board meeting in which there was extra emphasis of their faith reminding me that while these are good people, I am not of their clan.
Totally not feeling like being receptive, social, or helpful and having a metric butt-ton of people want something of me: information, attention, assistance, etc.
Even when I do want to communicate, feel like someone spooled the tape that is my brain in backwards
Traditional bonus normally given no winter board meeting days not evident, thus jostling my shopping plans
Enought PMS that if animated into an independent entity could stab the ever-loving-shit out of a balrog and then have enough energy left over to conquer Mars.
Of the good:
The food at the party was damned impressive.
I can hide in my office, unlike the rest of my coworkers.
I impressed one of the older board members by scanning two (really crappy quality) photographs in under half an hour. No need to go send them off to a separate entity to have it done, no cost to him, either.
I *should* get my bonus tomorrow and I have several days to go shopping.
On a happier note, today is
quiet_elegance's 31st natal day and the second year in which he acknowledges that chronological shift six months late - June 12th.
