The limbo of waiting to leave
Meta: After I posted earlier, I went through 2004 and 2003 journal entries looking for suspect rants that needed locking and tagging 99% of it all for easier referencing later, I determined that whenever I listen to that compilation tape Dad made, I almost always make note of it here, directly or indirectly.
Travel: after consulting with my MiL, we'll not be headed directly to Kokomo and the hotel tomorrow evening, as my inlaws would already be in bed. 5.5 hour drive. That, and 5.5 hour drive after being in an airplane or airport for 6 hours. So, really, for the best. I remembered to pack the iPod car adaptor and regular recharge unit. 5.5 hours. Just sayin'.
Prep: As usual, I'm very keyed up waiting for this trip to actually start. I hate waiting. So, I've been doing. Like packing. I believe the orignal theory about having no choice about checking luggage is now null. Remove a few boxes, and suddenly it's a lot easier! There is much heroic and triumphant laughter!
Right. Back to that waiting thing.
