... to get the crud :P I am home trying to take it easy.
I did go out to Wilson Farm to get some supplies, but specifically lamb for the curry I want to make tonight. Jesus Christ on a pogo stick. That was a really really unbright idea. I loathe crowds, particularly when they're wielding wheeled baskets and getting in my way. I did get it all and I'm now being treated by the scent of garlic and ginger and lamb cooking in the kitchen.

Because one of my friends is putting together a compilation of "I'm irritated/angry with God" songs, I've been brainstorming for more candidates. One of them was Depeche Mode's Blaphemous Rumors. Wow. Holy Shit. I've not listened to DM for oh... probably a good 10 years. It's just surreal. I forgot how synth-y they are, which is very silly because that was one of their trade marks.

Dad'll be here w/in the next 2 hours.
The house is clean enough.
I have a decent book to read (rereading the 4th of the Tamora Pierce Lioness series)
I have the hiccups (yes, still ADD girl)

Dear God, by Sarah McLaughlan. I don't know if it's originally her song, but I love her version of it. It's powerful angry. I know I've heard someone else do it too, so I can't speak for its true origins.
