The Day Elmo Died [DTRH, one day late]
Editorial comment-- I loved the replies I got to the initial story so much, I'm gonna start this off and invite the viewing audience to build from there in comments. Ideally, one person will start and the next person will build from there, although to save a lot of excessive tabbing, just reply from the inital trunk if you are going to. This means folks ought to read comments before commenting themselves- Thanks! And now the story in progress. . .
News came down the wire 36 hours after the crime was committed. The first CSI: Sesame Street crew member on the team to arrive was S St. rep Gordon. It was safe to say that the Brother was a little shaken from the news that one of S St's giggly later generation but highly popular native had been brutally murdered and his skin left in a Lexington Massachusetts residence. And yet, this crime wasn't quite the shock it had been to the rest of the S St. population, but he about to broadcast untested theories. This was not something that coudld be hushed up and the list of suspects off the top of his head could very well go to the top of S St's twisted heirarchy.
Gordon had just finishing laying the tape to show how the remains lay on the ugly taupe carpet when he looked up to see another member of the crew arrive up the front steps. His shades were on, a large cup of coffee was gripped in his hands and the bastard looked hung over.
"Nice stubble there, bro! Didn't have time to shave before you got here??"
The reply, when it came, was enough to make a pre-schooler blush. . .
