Well, that was odd

I just got back from taking The Intern to lunch in Chinatown. One of the regulars from another group in the building sees me in the lobby and I immediately figure she'll note the absence of Robin. She asks "Where's your other half?" to which I reply after a significant pause, "No idea."
"Oh," she says, "I thought you two were a couple." I shake my head and don't break my usual quick step up the stairs. I don't burst into laughter until I get into the library. Intern snorfles, too. I must tell Robin for she will snorfle, as well.

Robin's reaction to the conversation was about the same as mine (snorfle) and she made sad pouty faces at the idea of our theoretical breakup. So, I had to relent.

Both of my boys made for fantastic audience at the story, too. Heee! I am the evil.
