Picasa's "help" doesn't seem to cover the what if screensaver doesn't work/bug fixin' sort of stuff, so I'm going to talk about that behind a cut.. Ahem...
What I've done:
selected images to be in my screen saver.
create toolbar->screensaver
approved in Display/screensaver (within the OS menu) that this was what I want
But there are no images either in the preview or when the screen goes inactive.
I feel like I've made a serious effort to find the answer by myself and it still eludes me. There's a user forum, but there was only one post (that I saw) that comes close to this problem, and nobody answered it. *shrug*- so, if one of you know or know someone who knows, I would like to know, you know? Thanks!

What OS are you using?

ok, I have that at home (XP Pro I think) and I already have picasa there...I'll see what I can do tonight.

What are the stats on these pics? How big; jpg or gif or whatever type; animated?

Have you tried using only one pic and seeing if that works? (ie, maybe it's a bug with one specific pic; maybe any pic; maybe it's with a group of pics)

hrm....I'm using Picasa Version 2.1.0 (Build 27.60, 0)

I followed your steps, and it worked for me. (XP Pro).

:( I even tried with a 1.2 MB image....

When the "Display Properties" box comes up (the OS "Choose a screensaver" box), is "Picasa 2 Screen Saver" highlighted?

Do the other screen savers work?
