two ice creams and one sorbet, so far this season.
The citrus sorbet was pretty good; should have cut down on the sugar before adding the marmalade, and I should have strained it.
I hear the chocolate mint chip was good, though I messed up and only put in half as much chocolate as I should have. Mint's not my thing, so I didn't actually try any.
The vanilla with caramel swirl was omfgyummy.
The downside is that we don't have nearly enough freezer space do have more than two flavors at any time. Meh!!
new flavor: irish coffee. We shall see. It needs many hours in the fridge before it can be churned. (Hence my fucking around and it being past noon already. Blargh!)
We'd likely use them for something. We often end up with excess yolks because the kids only eat whites and not yolks. If nothing else we'll scramble them up for breakfasts. But... hmm, meringues. Chocolate chip ones. I might be motivated.
Sure thing. The bag o' goo be yours. I just froze it last night as it looked like there were no takers, so all be well. I'll see about getting the bag from my coldbox to yours.
