Today's the middle of my vacation. This whole staying home thing is kind of cool. I've already gotten into the habit of staying up past midnight. This could  be bad.
 

• shopping for new shirts- many new shirts. I only bought one black one, manders.
• a whole day with lifecollage
• acquired a new table for the kitchen- mahogany with ball and claw feet. I'm so surprised it fits in the kitchen so nicely, but it does. My now former co-worker sold it to me, as they are paring down their stuff on prep to the move to NM. He's funny when he's been drinking.
  
• visit to Walden Pond with sweetmmeblue
• attempted to sew a dress. Will not attempt that again, thanks.
  
• fixed up storage for finished clay things
• finished Buffy season 7 (again). I think Angel's next

Stuff I want to do still

• photograph and upload to LJ Scrapbook finished clay work
• look at cars with purple_terror (for him, not me)
• actually read one of the books I have gotten from the library
• bike ride or 3
• paint a few more cards. I seem to have given away many of my favorite
• make pie and ice cream

There you go- that seems mostly content free, but that's sort of what a week of vacation at home is supposed to be, right?

I think I should at least get a picture in the new BLACK shirt. Color, my dear, color. (and I'm not talking purple or red!)

I'm finally ON season 7 buffy! And oh my goodness. My friend keeps saying, "Just trust in Joss..." Um, hello, he keeps taking away all my favorite characters!

You have to be one with your inner masochist when it comes to Joss. I may be brainwashed by this point, but I think when you have the danger of characters dying, all that happens around the death means more.

I admit, I got some purple shirts. And some red ones, but also tan and teal! And even a pink one- am I forgiven? :)

re buffy: First Calendar, then Angel and Cordy go be "Angel" and then Oz, and then the mom, and then giles, and then buffy, and then buffy's back, and then Giles is back, then tara dies, and then giles is back... oh and Riley... I'm sure I'm missing someone else.

Like with Tara, I totally realize she had to die for Willow to go all crazy like and for that part of the story to happen, but so sad.

I was thinking about you this afternoon as I was crossing the common to get to the statehouse. I didn't read this until after I got back home... that you are not at work this week. Yay for not work! If I have to go back to the statehouse I'll give you a call and maybe we can hook up.
