First off: work is as predicted less irritating, but it has been a few hours.

This evening's activities were taken up with watching MTV-Icon Metallica. I love replay. I could fast-forard through the bands covering songs badly and get to the mini bio, then to the actual guys playing. rOcK!
Oh- and one can pause to run to Circuit City to get a replacement phone.

I got fed up today when the fucker decided it had no charge after I juiced it Monday... all day. I'm still a contractual obligation slave to Sprint til October, so I was stuck with 5 "different" flip style phones. Really not my ideal. Don't trust the engineering... but given I use it less than most and then don't try to juggle with it (yadda yadda) It may survive and if not, I got a new 3 year warranty, just in case. So, while it was charging (and getting quite warm, I must say)- I added 20+ numbers. One nice feature of this newer model is that you can fill in one name and up to 6 numbers under that name. I think I like that... I can at least get used to it.
Thanks to refunds from store for phone, warranty, and rebate, I'm making money on this deal. And here comes the bit about wanting that instant gratifaction: I have to wait til I get mailed the frickin checks. :) Plus I have the fun of calling Sprint tomorrow to switch phones.
I've discovered that my phone holster in my purse is now too deep. I foresee some padding in that compartment so I don't have to dig for it.
