Fangirl's dream come true. I started to geek out when walking up to The Wang (say that without giggling, I dare you) and it only got more intense as I started to mingle with the sea of underage estrogen. The median age of the crowd was almost certainly under 17. Our seats were Mezzanine Right, row G. So, next to the wall, but we could see everything just fine.
There was some taped stuff as intro - the exec producer, Nigel, said a few things, and did a little video montage of the judges' favorite audition moments- read "painful"- then the top 10 were introduced. Mind you throughout this you could have traveled back in time and expected the Beatles or Elvis due to the female shriek. It was intense.
The outfits were amazing, the dances flawless, and the choice of routines beyond crowd pleasing.
the lineup in no particular order (would I had a program) ....
and a lot more. I'd not felt that level of fangirl since I met Alan Tudyk after Spamalot. The guys agree. Fangirl overload

Sexyback- with backup from the 6 not in the final, plus our 4 favorites
Ramalama- whole troupe
Cell Block Tango- whole troupe
Allison & Ivan (melt!) did several together: Argentine Tango (omg- Teh Hawt, Contemporary (the one that made Mary Murphy cry), and Hip hop (Shane Sparks routine with the umbrellas)
Benji & Donyelle- "Vietnamese" Waltz- her dress was... drooooool- fucsia and black with a lot of sequins. Also, Broadway (from Hairspray)- I never loved this one, but the crowd liked
Travis & Benji- whiteboy hiphop- !!!
Travis & Heidi- contemporary with the flower and bench (made me cry again)
Natalie & Dmitri- Samba? Latin something. Very hot.
Ryan & Heidi- Cuban Rumba- I liked it a lot more now- always love when he "beats her bongos"
Natalie & Travis- Broadway (Steam Heat)- way cute outfit on her: bowler, red glittery bra-top, suspenders (american not uk term, please) and boyshorts style butt-covering
